Pulling this mindset apart is sickening, but it is true. “They can’t afford to be questioned because they have no answers. So those questions get pushed to the outside where their faith erodes until it is gone.” This is my experience. I so much wanted to stay Amish because I was born Amish but I had hundreds’ of why questions. What we were required to do had to make sense. And with time I totally shut down. I had no more questions and instead I was waiting for the appropriate time to slip out of religion without being noticed.

I have been an avid reader of your writings and exposes of the ConMen publishing’s.
Sadly there is much truth in the gaslighting/guilt by association or unassociation of ConMens dictatorial rule.
You do well to bring it to light. There is so much awfulness hidden behind the false front stores of ConMenville.
I am a leaver who is now a deep believer.
Here are a few things I have learned over the last year or so.

	1.	God never expected us to perform in order for HIM to love us more!
	2.	Religion is trying to obtain Gods favor through human effort.
	3.	Jesus did not die for us to “be saved”. To “be saved” only changes a destiny, it does not transform.
	4.	Religion is human effort at transformation.
	5.	Transformation only occurs when MY mind is RENEWED by CHRIST living in me, a close relationship with the Holy Spirit [so He guides me in to ALL truth], so that Jesus is seen and not self, and a constant worship of GOD, the Creator of ALL things.
	6.	Religion says, “God what you did for me, ehh, not quite good enough. Let me help.”
	7.	God hates religion! HE has done ALL and given ALL. So LOVE HIM!
